4/19: Abby's song Spend the Night charting in the top five of college/indie radio

Abby is very happy to announce that her song "Spend the Night" is charting in the top five on a number of college and indie radio stations and has been added to CMJ stations.

4/19: Abby's New Projects

9/5: Abby finishes album with Adam Blackstone

Abby just wrapped up her album with Adam Blackstone of The Roots. She is really excited to have produced two of the tracks herself, "This Little Love" and "Love Don't Need Light to Grow" which features Jesse Ruben on vocals and Bob Reynolds on saxophone.

9/5: Abby heads to Nashville

Abby recently went to Nashville to showcase for Bands With a Mission. While in Nashville, Abby also met up with music publishers as well as BMI writers with whom she'll be collaborating on future projects. It was Abby's first trip to Nashville and she can't wait to head down again soon to write and perform!

5/2: Abby invited to attend the 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Abby invited to attend the 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The organization, which is dedicated to recognizing the work and lives of those composers and lyricists who create popular music around the world, returns for its highly anticipated 41st annual induction and awards dinner, scheduled for Thursday, June 17 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Past inductees have included Carole King, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, James Brown, Billy Joel, and Elton John to name a few. Keep checking shof.org to see this year's inductees.

4/6: Florida Music Festival April 21-24

Abby will be showcasing at the Florida Music festival which was named one of the 'Top Music Festivals' by SPIN Magazine. Over the course of nine years the FMF Conference and Industry Panels has taken pride in bringing together the top music business executives with the budding artists and aspiring music entrepreneurs. Past Keynotes and speakers include John Janick (Fueled By Ramen CEO: Fallout Boy/Less Than Jake), Steve Robertson (Atlantic Records VP: Paramore/Shinedown),Richard Reines (Drive Thru Records CEO: Something Corporate/Goodbye Hello), Rodney Jerkins (Producer: Lady GaGa, Beyonce), Richard Gottherer (Founder: Orchard Digital Distribution/Sire Records) and many other music industry tastemakers. Former student Attendees have gained access, and in turn employment with companies like CMJ (College Music Journal), William Morris Agency, Interscope Records, Atlantic Records and more.

4/6: Upcoming EP with Producer Adam Blackstone

Abby is currently working with renowned producer Adam Blackstone on her upcoming EP. Adam's producing credits include Jill Scott, Joss Stone, Usher, The Roots, Al Green, and Diane Birch to name a few. As a bassist, he's also toured with top artists including Janet Jackson, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Jill Scott. Abby is thrilled to be writing and producing with Adam and can't wait to share the finished album with you!

2/3: Cape May Singer-Songwriter Festival

Abby will be showcasing at this year's Cape May Singer-Songwriter festival. The event focuses on "engaging new artists with established talent and music industry professionals." Music industry professionals attend SS Cape May as performers, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts.

1/15: Abby selected for Muddy River Jam Festival

12/15: Abby selected to showcase at 14th Annual Millennium Music Conference

11/17: ArtistShare selects Abby to be their featured songwriter

Abby was selected by ArtistShare, a fan-funded organization which has paved the way for Grammy Award-winning artists to be their featured songwriter. ArtistShare is going to promote Abby's music in exchange for allowing them to videotape her songwriting process reality TV/documentary style. So far, they have taped the initial interviews, meetings with music publishers, and her SHOF (Songwriters Hall of Fame) showcase at The Bitter End. At the end of the process, Abby will record/produce one of her newest songs based on the donations she receives from fans. To support Abby's project, visit the website

11/17: Abby accepted into Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) workshop

In October, Abby was accepted into an advanced workshop with hit songwriter Peter Bliss (Barbara Streisand, Menudo, Paula Abdul) where she has had the chance to pitch her songs to and hear feedback from reputable A&R representatives, music publishers, and top 40 songwriters. Both Lady Gaga and John Legend got their starts through participating in SHOF so Abby is very excited to be a part of this program!
